Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds and united by their shared passion for the saxophone, The Sax Syndicate is a dynamic and electrifying group that plays as a sextet, septet, or octet composed of three saxes up to a five-piece big band style saxophone section accompanied by a full rhythm section. Inspired by the iconic group, Supersax, The Sax Syndicate combines their individual virtuosity to create a seamless blend of harmonies, exhilarating solos, and infectious rhythms. Their repertoire includes jazz compositions and arrangements set in five-part harmony written by the likes of Gordon Goodwin, Benny Carter, Bob Mintzer, and many more.

The Sax Syndicate adds guest artists to most shows. The regular members are Jeff Miguel (Leader & Alto/Soprano Sax), Ty Nemechek (Alto Sax), Chris Wojtecki (Tenor Sax), Drew Gomez (Bari Sax), Ron Bland (Bass), Daniel Moran (Piano), and Josh Beyers (Drums).

The Sax Syndicate’s saxophonists also play as The Syndicate Sax Quartet. They are a professional saxophone quartet from Denver, Colorado, composed of five of the city’s best saxophonists who play soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. The group specializes in the jazz genre with intricate arrangements and inspiring improvisation. Beyond jazz, their repertoire extends to classical compositions and artfully crafted a cappella renditions of pop hits, all thoughtfully adapted for the saxophone ensemble.
